Description
Come and join me for this gelli printing workshop – an easy and versatile monoprinting technique where the process is exciting, the results are quick and no two prints are the same.
During this full-day workshop you will be taught gelli plate basics and learn how to layer colour and texture using botanical material (pressed leaves) to produce interesting effects.
In the afternoon you will be shown lots of techniques and have the opportunity to use your prints to create a variety of different finished pieces – from mounting them to creating smaller pieces with the offcuts. You will leave with lots of ideas of what to do next with your prints when you get them home.
The workshop is for all skill levels – from complete beginners to experienced artists who would like to try a new technique.
Please bring an apron (printing is a messy business!) all other materials and equipment is provided on the day.
