Description
Would you like to learn how to create semi abstract landscape collages using your own hand printed collage papers? Then come and join me for this gelli printing and collage combo. A fun day-workshop with an easy to follow plan for creating your own landscape collage and including lots of tips and tricks for getting the best out of the techniques.
We’ll spend the morning learning gelli printing basics and creating loads of collage papers, next will be planning out the landscape and ripping and cutting the papers for your collage. The final part of the day will be sticking it all down on to the heavyweight paper and considering any details you might want to add such as crayon marks, acrylic pens or even stitches. You’ll be able to create and make as many landscapes as you have time for and of course you can take any collage papers you make away with you to carry on creating at home.
You’ll need to bring an image or sketches of a landscape you’d like to work from, an apron (gelli printing and collage are a messy business!) and your lunch. Other than that all other materials and refreshments* will be provided on the day.
The workshop is for all skill levels – from complete beginners to experienced artists who would like to try a new technique.

Time: 10am – 3.30pm with a half hour break for lunch (not provided*).
